In line with footballing tradition at AFC, every new player must go through an initiation which involves standing in front of his new peers and singing.
He may be our record signing and one of the best players on the planet, but Mesut Ozil is no different and he was forced to do belt out his favourite tune in front of the rest of the Arsenal squad recently.
Unfortunately for him, young striker Chuba Akpom was standing front and centre to take photo evidence of his embarrassing initiation and posted it online for the world to see.
Sadly Akpom didn’t disclose what Ozil’s song choice was but I’m betting it was one of his wife’s songs (Ozil’s other half, Mandy Capristo, is a well known pop-star in Germany).
