Predicted Arsenal Line-Up vs Aston Villa
After a hugely frustrating summer, Arsenal kick off the new season against Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon.
As per usual, we’ve been hit by a spate of injuries and with no new additions to the squad, we’re down to the bare bones this weekend.
With Bacary Sagna and Mikel Arteta joining the likes of Nacho Monreal, Thomas Vermaelen and Abou Diaby on the sidelines, Arsene Wenger is left with very little options for his team tomorrow.
Assuming Aaron Ramsey and Theo Walcott are passed fit, and Santi Cazorla is given the all-clear to start after his long-haul trip to Ecuador in midweek, here’s the line-up I think we’ll see:
The only possible change could see Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain start in place of Lukas Podolski, with Cazorla possibly moving out to the left.
While we are all disappointed at the lack of transfer activity and the squad depth is a huge worry, this eleven should be more than capable of beating Aston Villa. The bench? That’s anyone’s guess and it’s likely to be filled by youngsters.
Do you agree with my team? What would yours be?

Oh well that will have to do then. And let’s hope we win. Not good enough against the top teams though both EPL and ECL..

we are tired of arsene lackadaisical attitude in managing dis our beloved club.I think what he want is to kill arsenal by allowing spurs to be ahead of us before he will go.

Would agree in general. If Sagna is fit, I believe he should start ahead of Jenkinson. I also, would prefer Rosicky and Cazorla instead of Poldoski.
