VIDEO GOALS: Arsenal 1-2 Galatasaray: Drogba Double Denies Gunners

By on August 4, 2013

Arsenal let slip a one-goal lead to lose 2-1 to Galatasaray with old foe Didier Drogba coming off the bench to score a late double.

We went ahead when Walcott’s cross evaded everyone to find the far corner of the net but Drogba then levelled from the spot after a blatant dive earned his side a penalty. I can honestly say I don’t miss watching his theatrics week-in week-out.

The big Ivorian then predictably grabbed the winner in the 87th minuted, turning Per Mertesacker inside out to fire past Szczesny. The loss left us finishing 3rd in the table. Watch all the goals here.
