VIDEO: Stoke 3-2 Arsenal: Embarrassing First Half Costs Arsenal
An embarrassing opening 45 minutes cost Arsenal as we lost 3-2 to Stoke at the Britannia this afternoon.
We gifted them a goal inside the opening 30 seconds as schoolboy defending allowed Crouch (who else?!) to tap home from 4 yards out. Bojan was then given all the room in the world to fire home a second before Walters smashed home at the far post from a corner for 3-0 at half time to cap off probably the worst 45 minutes of the season.
We pulled one back when Cazorla converted from the penalty spot after Flamini was brought down before Ramsey volleyed home from a corner for 3-2 in the 70th minute. However, our chances of finding an equaliser were dashed when Chambers was harshly sent off for a second yellow and Stoke hung on to claim the win.
