Video: Arsenal 2-0 Palace: Giroud scores wonder goal

Olivier Giroud stole the headlines with a stunning goal as Arsenal eased to a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace at the Emirates this afternoon.

After a bright start, we broke the deadlock in spectacular fashion in the 17th minute with a goal that really has to be seen to be believed.

After Lucas Perez won the ball on the edge of our own box, we broke at pace leading to Alexis Sanchez crossing for Giroud who scored in off the bar with a scorpion kick.

It was 2-0 shortly after half time when Alex Iwobi was on hand to head home after a bit of a scramble in the box following a Monreal cross.

We had plenty of chances to add to the scoreline but had to settle for 2-0 which sees us move back up to third in the table.
