Arsenal weigh player-plus-cash offer for Kenan Yildiz

By on September 27, 2025

Arsenal are reportedly prepared to negotiate a player-plus-cash proposal to secure the services of Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz, according to Italian outlet Radio Radio.

The north London club have already strengthened their frontline this summer, adding Viktor Gyokeres, Noni Madueke and Eberechi Eze to their attacking options.

Despite this, speculation around further additions continues to surface, with Yildiz now emerging as a serious target.

Arsenal keen on Yildiz deal

The report indicates that Juventus have set an asking price worth up to £79 million for the Turkish international.

Arsenal, however, are ready to table a package worth £52 million plus Leandro Trossard in part exchange, as per the report.

Mikel Arteta’s side are believed to hold Yildiz in high regard and are said to be eager to bring him in before rivals make a move.

Arsenal may also look to use Juventus’ delicate financial situation to their advantage in negotiations.

The 20-year-old, who came through Bayern Munich’s academy before joining Juventus, has enjoyed a rapid rise over the past year.

He delivered a strong 2024/25 season, scoring 12 goals and contributing nine assists across 52 matches in all competitions.

Impressive rise in Turin

Although most of his minutes last season came from the left wing, Yildiz also showed his versatility by operating centrally as a playmaker and on the right flank.

This campaign, he has been deployed in a support role behind striker Dusan Vlahovic, where he has already registered six goal contributions from just five appearances.

Since the beginning of last season, Yildiz has managed 27 direct involvements in goals, underlining his development into one of Europe’s brightest young attackers.

The Turkish star has built a reputation for being highly adaptable across the front line.

His close ball control, dribbling ability and comfort in tight spaces allow him to unlock defences and create chances.

Yildiz also combines his technical ability with physical strength, giving him the resilience to hold off markers while staying press-resistant.

His vision for forward passes, two-footed nature and freedom to roam across attacking positions make him a unique option for any top side.

With Arsenal considering a significant offer, Juventus may face a difficult decision in the coming weeks if their finances require a major sale.
