[Photos] 17-year-old trains with first team as Arsenal prepare for Burnley trip
The Arsenal players have been undertaking their final preparations at London Colney as we gear up for a tricky trip to Turf Moor to take on Burnley tomorrow afternoon.
The majority of the first team squad were all rested in midweek as the second string put in a disappointing performance to lose 1-0 to Cologne in our Europa League group game.
Reiss Nelson had started in all the cup games this season heading in to the Cologne clash but he was was only introduced as a late substitute on Thursday as he was suffering from a cold.
The 17-year-old trained with the rest of the first team at London Colney this afternoon but it’s unlikely Nelson will keep his place in the squad as we have a number of attacking options at our disposal.
Danny Welbeck is available after being given the all-clear having been taken off at half-time as a precaution on Thursday night while the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Alex Iwobi are also pushing for starts.
With Hector Bellerin expected to be recalled in the right wing-back position, Nelson is unlikely to force his way in to Wenger’s plans for tomorrow afternoon.

There’s no excuse expected from the team. We’re not talking about the possibility of winning this game but scoring a good number of goals. 5 should be the least or else we’ll not take it lightly with the team.
