Some of the Arsenal players have been celebrating online after we secured a vital 2-1 victory over Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium last night.
Arsene Wenger shocked us all by switching to a 3-4-2-1 formation and it seemed to do the trick as Alexis Sanchez opened the scoring with a stunning free-kick shortly before half-time.
Boro levelled things up just minutes after the restart as poor defending allowed Alvaro Negredo to make it 1-1 but Mesut Ozil scored the winner 20 minutes from the end to seal a huge victory.
The win keeps alive our hopes of finishing in the top four but we still have a lot of work to do as we’re seven points adrift of Manchester City with just one game in hand.
After the game last night, Sanchez took to Instagram to share a video of himself giving his shirt to a young fan with a message saying the victory was for the Gunners family.
Ozil, Rob Holding, Nacho Monreal and Laurent Koscielny also posted photos and messages on Twitter to celebrate the club getting back to winning ways on the road after a difficult run.
Check out what the players have been saying below:
