[Video] Arsenal 3-1 Chivas: Holding on target as Ox scores stunner

By on August 1, 2016

Arsenal finished off our pre-season tour of the United States in style with a 3-1 victory over Chivas in Los Angeles last night.

We opened the scoring in the 34th minute when Calum Chambers cut back a Santi  Cazorla free-kick for Rob Holding and the young defender made no mistake from close range to score his first goal in Arsenal colours.

It was 2-0 shortly after half-time and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain continued his fine pre-season form with another beauty, this time the midfielders cut in from the right wing before curling home a lovely left-footed finish.

We made it 3-0 in the 56th minute as Chuba Akpom poked home from a Mathieu Debuchy cut-back to put us firmly in control. Debuchy then gave away a penalty to hand Chivas a consolation but we secured a comfortable 3-1 win.
