Video: Sheff Weds 3-0 Arsenal: 2 injuries compound miserable night
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Theo Walcott picked up injuries to compound what was a miserable night for Arsenal as we crashed 3-0 to Sheffield Wednesday.
Arsene Wenger’s game plan went out the window inside two minutes as The Ox limped off with a hamstring injury before his replacement, Walcott, was also forced off inside the opening 15 minutes with a calf injury.
The hosts took full advantage of our depleted side as first half goals from Wallace and Joao put them in control at half time before Hutchinson wrapped things up shortly after the break to send us crashing out of the Capital One Cup.
