Date confirmed: Arsenal’s League Cup clash to be shown on Sky Sports
The date has been confirmed for Arsenal’s Capital One Cup fourth-round tie against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough with the game to be shown live on Sky Sports.
We booked our place in the fourth round with a thrilling 2-1 win over Tottenham last night thanks to a double from Mathieu Flamini.
We’ve been drawn to play away at Sheffield Wednesday and the club have confirmed this afternoon that the game will be played on Tuesday 27th October, kicking off at 7.45pm.
The match has also been selected to be aired live on Sky Sports.
The game will come right in the middle of a testing run of fixtures that will see us take on Bayern Munich [H], Everton [H], Sheffield Wednesday [A], Swansea [A], Bayern Munich [A] and Tottenham [H], so I fully expect Arsene to field a weakened side for the League Cup clash.
Just to confirm, the details are:
Sheffield Wednesday v Arsenal
Tuesday, October 27
Kick-off: 7.45pm
Live on Sky Sports
