By on July 18, 2015

Arsenal lifted the Asia Trophy with an impressive 3-1 victory over Everton in this afternoon’s final.

Theo Walcott opened the scoring in the first half after firing home following an excellent ball from Santi Cazorla.

The Spanish playmaker then doubled our advantage in the second half with a fine low finish before Mesut Ozil wrapped-up the win with a cooly taken third.

Ross Barkley pulled one back for Everton after Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s mistake but we held out to lift the Asia Trophy for the first time.

Petr Cech made his debut and pulled off a world class save to keep the score at 1-0 just before half time – you can watch that save here and all the goals below.
