Video: Petr Cech Makes World Class Save On Arsenal Debut

By on July 18, 2015

Petr Cech has already shown why he’s going to be a huge success at Arsenal after pulling off a world class save on his debut against Everton today.

Cech lined-up in goal against the Toffees in today’s Asia Trophy final and after barely touching the ball for 39 minutes, the 33-year-old pulled off a superb stop just before half time.

Garbutt’s in-swinging free-kick was met by the head of Naismith who flicked it on for what seemed like a certain goal only for Cech to get a fingertip to touch it onto the bar.

The follow-up eventually found it’s was into the back of the net but was rightly ruled-out for offside.

It was an excellent save by Cech and it’s the kind of world class stops we should get used to seeing from him. What a great signing!

Arsenal have bossed the game with Theo Walcott’s goal separating the two sides at half-time.
