Photos: Duo Snapped In Training Ahead Of Arsenal First Team Return
The Arsenal squad have been doing their final preparations at London Colney this afternoon ahead of this weekend’s huge FA Cup semi-final against Reading.
Wojciech Szczesny and Jack Wilshere were among those to be put through their paces by Arsene Wenger and his coaching staff today as the duo prepare to make their first team comebacks on Saturday.
Szczesny has been axed as our No.1 since New Years Day and has only featured in 3 FA Cup games but the boss confirmed at his press conference that the Polish international is set to start in goal at Wembley.
Wilshere hasn’t featured for the first team since back in November due to an ankle injury but Arsene also confirmed that the midfielder is now back in contention after playing for the under-21’s in recent weeks to gain match fitness.
I still think Jack will named on the bench on Saturday but I’m sure he’s been working hard in training to show the boss he’s ready for a start.
