PHOTOS: Debuchy, Ramsey + Cazorla Share Dressing Room Pics After City Win
Arsenal kicked off the new season in superb fashion after beating Manchester City 3-0 in the Community Shield at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.
First half goals from Santi Cazorla and Aaron Ramsey put us firmly in control at the break before French striker Olivier Giroud came off the bench to wrap up the victory with a stunning third.
After the game, summer signing Mathieu Debuchy posed a photo on Twitter of him with the Community Shield in the dressing room after the game. The Frenchman had a great match and it’s good to see him make such an encouraging start to life in North London.
Santi Cazorla also shared an image of him along with several of the squad celebrating the win in the dressing room, while Rambo posted a photo on Instagram of him with his winners medal and also an image of him being soaked in champagne by Mathieu Flamini on the pitch after the final whistle.
Today was a great start and it looks like that winning mentality has continued from the FA Cup. Let’s hope we can take that into the new season and have a real go at the league.
