Arsenal ‘Make Offer’ For £25m-Rated World Class Attacker

By on June 24, 2014

Some really exciting news has been doing the rounds today with various reports claiming Arsenal have made a move for Barcelona attacker Alexis Sanchez.

The Chilean attacker has been tipped to leave Barcelona this summer and the likes of Juventus, Liverpool and Manchester United have all been linked, while Arsenal have also been touted as potential suitors.

The Chilean international has been impressive so far in the World Cup and will be hoping to do as well in his sides upcoming knock-out round fixture.

It appears Arsene Wenger has decided to make his move as the Telegraph claim we have made a formal enquiry for the 25-year-old with Barca believed to value him at around £25m – which would be a bargain for a world class player such as Sanchez.

Spanish outlet Candena COPE have taken it one step further as they report that Arsene met with Sanchez’s agent after the recent Spain v Chile game where we made an offer for the player.

The Tweet above comes from Candena COPE’s Twitter account and roughly translates to ‘After the match between #CHI and #ESP, Arsene Wenger met the agent Alexis Sanchez. The Chilean has offers from Arsenal and Liverpool’.

As you can see we aren’t the only one’s the media outlet think have put forward an offer with Liverpool also understood to be in the running, but it’s hugely exciting news as Sanchez would be a sensational signing.

I’d go as far to say that he’d be one of my ‘dream’ signings this summer and he’s the kind of player that would bring the best out of Mesut Ozil.

So let’s hope these reports are true and pray Arsene is able to lure him to the Emirates this summer.
