PHOTO: Arsenal Legend Dennis Bergkamp’s Statue Unveiled
It’s a special day at the Emirates today as not only do we take on Sunderland this afternoon, but Dennis Bergkamp is the latest legend to be immortalised with his own statue outside the stadium.
The Dutchman cemented himself in Arsenal history during a sensational 11 year career that saw him make over 420 appearances for the club.
During that time he won three Premier League titles, four FA Cup’s and was of course a part of the 2003/2004 invincibles.
Dennis had a huge impact on the club both on and off the pitch and he’s rightly remembered by Arsenal fans simply as ‘God’.
He’s worthy of his statue, and here’s a photo of him at the unveiling on Saturday morning:
