Agent: I Can Assure You, Benzema Wont Join Arsenal”

Bad news Arsenal fans, the agent of Karim Benzema has declared that there is no chance the striker will be leaving Real Madrid to join Arsenal.

Reports in recent days have claimed we are in talks with Madrid over the £40m signing of the 25-year-old – who was said to be unsettled at the Bernabeu after being booed by his own supporters.

However, Karim Djaziri says there has been no contact from us and even if there was, there is no chance his client would leave Madrid as they are the club of his dreams.

“We can not fight against the rumors, but I assure you Karim will not go to Arsenal,”

“There has never been any discussions and no contact has been established.”

“The arrival of Gareth Bale at Real Madrid is no threat,” he added. “Both Cristiano Ronaldo and and Bale play on the wings and Karim is central.

“We are working on a contract extension for three years. Discussions are taking place quietly, without deadline.

“Karim could well end his career at Real, the club of his dreams.”

Oh well, looks like that one could be hitting a dead end as well. Arsene Wenger has confirmed he’s going to be looking to bring in players before the window shuts next Monday, and a world class striker is believed to be a priority. But with the Suarez deal ‘dead’, Rooney unlikely, Higuain at Napoli, Lewandowski staying at Dortmund, and Benzema now staying at Madrid, what top class strikers are left to buy?
