Photo: Podolski Sends Arsenal ‘London Is Red’ Message Ahead Of NLD
Lukas Podolski has sent his Arsenal team mates a good luck message on Twitter ahead of today’s huge North London derby against Tottenham.
Poldi is currently out on loan at Inter Milan after falling out-of-favour under Arsene Wenger over the past 18 months but he hasn’t forgotten about his allegiances back in England.
The attacker uploaded a photo to Twitter of him celebrating with the Arsenal fans after last years 1-0 win at White Hart Lane with a message saying “Good luck my boys playing this Derby today! London is in Red. Come on gunners! #RedArmy #Gunners #Poldi #Derby #AFC”
He may not have been the most important player on the pitch, but the German was always up for the North London derbies, so I’m sure his personality will be missed in the dressing room today.
