TWEETS: Ozil & Ramsey React On Twitter To ‘Great’ Monaco Draw
It hasn’t taken some of the Arsenal players too long to take to social media networks to react to our fortunate Champions League draw this morning.
The gods were on our side for once as we avoided the likes of Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Real Madrid to be paired with Monaco in the knockout stages of the Champions League a short time ago.
Aaron Ramsey has described the draw as ‘great’ while Mesut Ozil pointed out that Arsene Wenger will be pleased to be facing his former club.
Check out what the boys had to say on Twitter:
Monaco! I'm sure our fans will enjoy the away trip… great place, great draw! #ChampionsLeague

I hope that in the midst of all the euphoria, they remember to prepare well and not get carried away. Monaco beat us neatly during the Emirates Cup, remember? Also remember Arsenal have this penchant to disappoint when hopes are highest?

Thank God! We’ll at least get through this round. I am sure, the media folks will be dissapointed.

Great chance for Arsenal to finally qualify for the last eight after long elimination run in Round of 16.
However, Monaco had the best defensive record in the group stages. They only conceded a single goal and cannot be taken for granted.
