Arsenal’s FA Cup Clash Moved For Live TV – New Date Confirmed
Arsenal’s FA Cup 3rd round clash against Hull City has been moved in order to be broadcast live on television.
We were drawn to face the Tigers in the 3rd round in what will be a repeat of the 2013/14 final, which saw Arsenal come from two-goals down to win the FA Cup in extra-time.
Unsurprisingly, the game has been chosen to be shown live on BBC1 and an announcement on Arsenal.com this afternoon confirmed that the match will now be played on Sunday January 4, kicking off at 5.30pm:
The new details are:
Arsenal v Hull City
FA Cup third round
Sunday, January 4, 2015
Kick off: 5.30pm
Live on: BBC1
This is excellent news for us as it means we’ll now get an extra 24 hours rest following our tricky trip to St Mary’s to face Southampton on New Years Day.
Had the Hull game been scheduled for the Saturday, like many others have been, then we’d have been forced to play twice in the space of 48 hours, but now we’ll play on Thursday and Sunday which should be much more manageable for the players.

Certainly no good for travelling fans all that way and not getting back to east Yorkshire until approximately 3-4 am ..Hope the police escort the coaches out unlike other times to avoid the congestion. I Bet 🙁
