TEAM: Podolski & Bellerin Start: Arsenal Line-Up To Play Anderlecht

Arsenal will look to book their place in the knockout stages of the Champions League when we take on Anderlecht at the Emirates on Tuesday night. This is the team I’d go with…

Obviously Wojciech Szczesny will start between the sticks and I’d like to see Hector Bellerin given a start at right-back. Nacho Monreal has done well enough in the middle but I think we should move Calum Chambers alongside Per Mertesacker and give Bellerin a go.

The Flamini-Arteta axes in midfield really isn’t working for me and there’s no need to play both at home to Anderlecht. Jack Wilshere is out with a sickness bug so hopefully Aaron Ramsey is brought back in to the team.

Santi Cazorla has been a little off-colour of late so I’d like to see Lukas Podolski given a rare start. The German put in an impressive cameo off the bench at the weekend and looked hungry, so let’s give him some minutes.

Theo Walcott was also impressive against Burnley when he came on but it’s too early for him to start so The Ox should keep his place on the right.

Alexis Sanchez has been superb in his free-role supporting Welbeck through the middle in recent games so there’s no reason to change that partnership while Mesut Ozil is out injured.

This is how I’d line-up, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Arsene sticks with Monreal and Cazorla instead of Bellerin and Podolaki. Either way, let’s hope for three more points which – coupled with a positive result for Dortmund over Galatasaray – would ensure we progress to the knockout stages.
