Revealed: Arsenal Announce October Player Of The Month
Arsenal have announced the winner of October’s Player of the Month and I’m sure it comes as no surprise to hear the winner is…..Alexis Sanchez.
Sanchez has been in excellent form in recent weeks and having already won the Player of the Month for September, the Chilean made it back-to-back awards after claiming a landslide victory for October.
The 25-year-old scored four goals during the month including strikes against Galatasaray, Hull and Sunderland while he also picked up three assists for his team-mates along the way.
We haven’t been playing particularly well of late and our recent victories have come largely because of the efforts put in by Sanchez so not surprisingly, he won the October player of the month award with a huge 90.1% of the votes.
Danny Welbeck came in a distant second on 4.5% with Kieran Gibbs third on just 1.4% of the votes.
Congratulations to @Alexis_Sanchez, the Vitality Player of the Month for October! Results: http://t.co/1COf7yOSCl pic.twitter.com/gRXZwkmumc
