TWEET: Podolski Says “Hell Will Freeze Over” Before He Joins Spurs
Arsenal attacker Lukas Podolski has hit back at speculation linking him with a £10m move to Tottenham.
Poldi has recently publicly admitted he’s frustrated with his bit-part role at Arsenal after falling down the pecking order under Arsene Wenger.
This has led to speculation he could be leaving in January and reports from the BBC this morning claimed that Spurs were lining-up a move for our out-of-favour German forward.
However, Podolski has taken to Twitter to categorically deny that any such move could take place, saying that hell would freeze over before he’d make the move to White Hart Lane, before adding several hashtags reaffirming his allegiance to Arsenal.
You’ve got to hand it to him, he may not always give 100% on the pitch, but he’s a true legend off it…..
In reply to the BBC’s report, Podolski said:
@BBCSport @Arsenal Hell will freeze over before this transfer would happen. #Poldi #aha #AlwaysAGunner #NeverCheatYourClub #AFC #Redarmy
