Arsenal have reportedly made a fresh move to sign Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz, as per Italian outlet Tutto Juve.

Despite winning the Premier League title last term, the Gunners have prioritised revamping the left flank this summer. After cashing-in on Leandro Trossard, they have purchased Christos Tzolis.

Gabriel Martinelli is another option Mikel Arteta currently has at his disposal for the LW role. However, he has displayed inconsistent performances in recent years and has entered the final year of his current contract.

So, it appears the North London club want a new left-sided forward. Initially, they attempted to buy Morgan Rogers, but Chelsea have won the race. They were even interested in Vinicius Junior, but he has decided to stay at Real Madrid by signing a fresh term.

As a result, Arteta’s side have seemingly shifted focus to alternative options, and Tutto Juve report that Arsenal have made a move to sign Yildiz.

However, Juventus have made it clear that they have no intention of letting him leave, having recently tied him down to a fresh contract until 2030. They consider the 21-year-old a key player for the long-term future.

The North London club previously attempted to sign the Turkish international back in June, but the Bianconeri’s stance remained the same at that time.

Yildiz to Arsenal

Yildiz is a right-footed left-winger by trait but is also comfortable with his wrong foot. On the other hand, he can provide cover in the creative midfield position if needed.

Yildiz is quick, technically sound, can dribble past opposition defenders in tight areas, and is efficient in scoring emphatic goals from distance. Moreover, he is efficient in creating opportunities for fellow attackers and also works hard without possession.

Although Juventus displayed inconsistent performances last term, Yildiz showed glimpses of his qualities, making 20 goal contributions across all competitions.

Having proven his worth in club football, the forward has secured his place in the Turkish national team’s starting line-up.

Yildiz is a top-class forward and possesses the potential to become one of the best players in the world. So, he would be a shrewd acquisition for Arsenal should they purchase him.
