TWEETS: Ozil, Wilshere, Podolski + Gibbs React On Twitter To Win Over Cardiff
We left it late but eventually saw off Cardiff 2-0 at the Emirates on Wednesday afternoon to remain top of the Premier League table.
Nicklas Bendtner broke the deadlock in the 88th minute with a close range finish before Theo Walcott sealed the three points with a lovely chip from a Jack Wilshere pass.
After the game, Lukas Podolski, Kieran Gibbs, Jack Wilshere and Mesut Ozil took to Twitter to react to the result and like all Arsenal fans, the boys were clearly delighted to secure the win and stay ahead of the chasing pack.
Here’s what the players had to say:
1st place! It was a important victory for our team today. Michael, we all hope that you will win, too.… http://t.co/AXPOJdtLuz
