Arsenal ‘keen’ on signing PSG star Bradley Barcola
Arsenal are reportedly ‘keen’ on signing Paris Saint-Germain forward Bradley Barcola, as per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
After moving to Parc des Princes from Olympique Lyonnais in 2023, the 23-year-old initially took time to settle into his new surroundings before showcasing his productivity last term.
In 65 appearances across all competitions, the youngster scored 21 goals and registered 20 assists. He showed glimpses of his qualities this season as well, making 19 goal contributions in all tournaments.
The forward has won three Ligue 1 titles, two Champions League trophies, and numerous other major cup competitions over the last few years at PSG.
However, he has struggled to break into Luis Enrique’s starting line-up in big games as the Spanish boss prefers to deploy Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Desire Doue on the flanks.
So, speculation surrounding Barcola’s future has started emerging in recent months. On X, Romano states that the PSG star could leave this summer, with his existing deal set to run until 2028.
Arsenal are considering upgrading the left flank and are ‘keen’ on purchasing Barcola by taking advantage of his current situation. However, the Gunners will have to overcome fierce competition to seal the deal as Liverpool and one more club are in this race as well.
Barcola to Arsenal

“Movements are expected around Bradley Barcola this summer as reported in May with Arsenal, Liverpool and one more club keen on PSG winger.”
Barcola, valued at around £60m by Transfermarkt, is a right-footed left-winger by trait but can also provide cover on the opposite side if needed. He is quick, technically sound, can dribble past opposition defenders in tight areas, and can create opportunities for fellow attackers.
Arsenal currently have Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard as left-wing options. However, the duo displayed inconsistent performances over the last two seasons, and they are set to enter the final year of their current contracts.
So, it appears Mikel Arteta is contemplating reinforcing the left flank. Barcola is a highly talented player and hasn’t reached his prime yet.
Therefore, the Frenchman would be a great coup for Arsenal should they purchase him. However, it is going to be interesting to see whether the North London club eventually manage to secure his service by defeating other clubs in this race.
