Arsenal are set to host already-relegated Burnley at the Emirates Stadium in the penultimate Premier League fixture of this season tonight.

The Gunners are currently at the top of the table with a two-point lead, and if they win their remaining two fixtures, they will become the English champions.

However, Mikel Arteta’s side can become the Premier League champions before the final day if they beat Burnley tonight and second-placed Manchester City fail to come away with all three points against AFC Bournemouth tomorrow.

Mikel Merino and Jurrien Timber remain sidelined due to their respective problems, while Ben White is set to be out for an extended period, having sustained a serious injury against West Ham United last weekend.

On the other hand, Riccardo Calafiori picked up an issue vs the Hammers and was taken off during the interval. As a result, he is in doubt for this encounter.

Predicted line-up

David Raya is expected to continue between the sticks, while William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes are likely to be the centre-back pairing for the North London club tonight.

Cristhian Mosquera should replace White and start in the right-back position, while Piero Hincapié could commence on the opposite side if Calafiori can’t feature.

Martin Zubimendi started promisingly after joining from Real Sociedad last summer, but has been displaying inconsistent performances in recent weeks.

As a result, Myles Lewis-Skelly may get the nod to start in the deep-lying playmaker position, and Declan Rice is set to start alongside the youngster in the engine room.

Martin Odegaard performed excellently after coming on as a substitute last weekend, but Eberechi Eze is likely to continue as the creative midfielder.
