Confirmed line-ups: Arsenal vs Bournemouth – Havertz and Lewis-Skelly start for Gunners
Arsenal have the chance to move 12 points clear at the top of the Premier League table when we take on Bournemouth at the Emirates Stadium this lunchtime.
We head into the game sitting nine points clear and with Manchester City facing a tough trip to Chelsea on Sunday, we have a terrific chance to extend our lead at the summit with victory today.
David Raya keeps goal once again and he’ll be in confident mood following his MOTM display during Arsenal’s 1-0 win over Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Myles Lewis-Skelly gets a chance to impress as he comes in for Riccardo Calafiori at left-back today. Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba continue their partnership in the middle of defence while Ben White keeps his place at right-back in the absence of Jurrien Timber.
Martin Zubimendi and Declan Rice start in midfield while Kai Havertz plays in the attacking midfield role with Martin Odegaard ruled out. Eberechi Eze is back in the squad but only fit enough for a place on the bench.
Noni Madueke continues in the right wing position in the absence of Bukayo Saka while Gabriel Martinelli replaces Leandro Trossard on the left flank. Viktor Gyokeres leads the line up front with Gabriel Jesus among the subs.
These are the line-ups for the game:
Arsenal
Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Lewis-Skelly; Rice, Zubimendi, Havertz; Madueke, Gyokeres, Martinelli.
Subs: Kepa, Mosquera, Salmon, Hincapie, Norgaard, Eze, Dowman, Trossard, Jesus.
Bournemouth
Petrovic; Jimenez, Hill, Senesi, Truffert; Scott, Christie; Rayan, Kroupi, Tavernier; Evanilson.
Subs: Mandas, Smith, Diakite, Brooks, Adams, Toth, Gannon Doak, Adli, Ünal
