Arsenal will look to get their hands on their first piece of silverware since 2020 when we take on Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley this afternoon.

This game could also have wider implications with the winner having a psychological edge in the Premier League title race, so it’s all to play for in London today.

Mikel Arteta has opted to start Kepa Arrizabalaga between the sticks so David Raya is on the bench. Jurrien Timber is ruled out so Ben White keeps his place at right-back. William Saliba starts alongside Gabriel Magalhaes in the middle of Arsenal’s defence while Piero Hincapie starts at left-back ahead of Riccardo Calafiori.

Martin Zubimendi anchors the midfield with Declan Rice also keeping his place in the middle of the park. Eberechi Eze is ruled out of the game after picking up a knock during the 2-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen in midweek. Therefore Kai Havertz starts in the attacking midfield role.

Bukayo Saka starts on the right flank for Arsenal with Leandro Trossard keeping his place on the opposite side of attack. Viktor Gyokeres leads the line up front so Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli and Noni Madueke are on the bench along with Max Dowman.

As for City, Erling Haaland is the obvious dangerman up front and he’s supported by Antoine Semenyo and Jeremy Doku. Bernardo Silva and Rodri start in midfield.
