Confirmed line-ups: Arsenal vs Bayer Leverkusen – Trossard & Gyokeres start
Arsenal will be looking to book their place in the quarter-finals of the Champions League when we take on Bayer Leverkusen at the Emirates Stadium tonight.
The tie is finely poised following a 1-1 first leg draw in Germany but Arsenal should be confident of getting the job done on home soil to progress to the last-8.
David Raya starts in goal once again for Arsenal tonight while William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes continue their partnership in the middle of defence. Piero Hincapie is recalled to start at left-back with Riccardo Calafiori dropping to the bench.
Jurrien Timber has been ruled out after picking up a knock during the 2-0 win over Everton at the weekend. Ben White is therefore recalled to start at right-back.
Martin Zubimendi continues in the holding role for Arsenal while Declan Rice will be looking to put-in another all-action performance in midfield. Martin Odegaard remains out so Eberechi Eze starts in the attacking midfield role.
Bukayo Saka keeps his place on the right flank while Leandro Trossard comes in on the left side of attack after recovering from a knock. Viktor Gyokeres leads the line up front with Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli among the Arsenal substitutes.
These are the teams:
Arsenal
Raya, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Hincapie, Zubimendi, Rice, Eze, Saka, Trossard, Gyokeres.
Subs: Arrizabalaga, Ranson, Mosquera, Jesus, Martinelli, Norgaard, Madueke, Havertz, Calafiori, Lewis-Skelly, Dowman
Bayer Leverkusen
