Arsenal interested in Hoffenheim’s Bazoumana Toure

By on January 30, 2026

Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing TSG Hoffenheim forward Bazoumana Toure, as per transfer journalist Ekrem Konur.

The 19-year-old moved to PreZero Arena from Swedish side Hammarby IF last winter. He initially took time to settle into his new surroundings before showing glimpses of his qualities this campaign.

In 15 Bundesliga appearances thus far, the 19-year-old has made six goal contributions. Moreover, he has been helping his side mount a top-four charge, sitting third in the table with 39 points from 19 matches.

After impressing in the German top-flight, Toure has secured a place in the Ivory Coast national team at this tender age, helping his country reach the quarter-finals of the recently concluded AFCON.

Now, Konur reports that Mikel Arteta is keen on signing a new explosive winger to ease the creative burden on Bukayo Saka and has identified Toure as a serious option.

The Gunners have been sending scouts regularly to watch him in action closely before making a potential swoop. It is highly unlikely that the forward will leave before the February 2nd transfer deadline, but he is expected to be available next summer.

With the Ivory Coast international’s existing deal set to run until 2029, Hoffenheim are in a strong position to demand a big fee and have slapped a £48m price tag on his head.

Toure to Arsenal

The journalist states that Arsenal aren’t the only club interested in the youngster, as Manchester United, Napoli, Real Betis, Atlético Madrid, and Bayern Munich have also been keeping a close eye on his development.

Toure is a left-footed left-winger by trait but can also provide cover on the opposite side. He is blistering quick; as a result, he has been dubbed the ‘Hurricane’. Moreover, the winger is efficient in creating opportunities for fellow attackers and can finish off his chances.

He is a talented player and possesses the potential to become a top-class attacker in the future. So, he might be a shrewd acquisition for Arsenal should they purchase him.

However, it is going to be interesting to see whether the North London club eventually make a concrete approach to secure his services this year.
