Arsenal eye move for Brazilian talent Rayan Rocha

By on October 23, 2025

Arsenal are reportedly keeping tabs on Vasco da Gama’s 19-year-old forward Rayan Rocha, widely known as Rayan, according to SportWitness.

The youngster has become one of Brazil’s most talked-about attacking prospects following an impressive season with the Rio de Janeiro club.

His form has drawn attention from several European sides, with Arsenal among those said to be interested in bringing him to England.

The Gunners have made it a habit of scouting young stars across Europe and South America.

Their recruitment team has been particularly active in identifying emerging forwards who can add depth and competition in attack. Rayan fits that profile perfectly.

Arsenal are reportedly exploring the possibility of a future move, viewing him as an affordable alternative to other high-priced attacking options in the market.

The forward’s numbers this season underline his potential. He has netted 16 goals across all competitions, establishing himself as a consistent performer for Vasco da Gama.

Rayan attracting top European interest

Following a strong display in Vasco’s 2–0 win over Fluminense, Brazil’s national team coach Fernando Diniz heaped praise on the teenager.

Diniz believes Rayan should be part of Brazil’s 2026 World Cup plans due to his steady growth and maturity on the pitch.

Rayan only confirms what I saw very early,” Diniz told reporters. “He is becoming more solid, more confident, and is establishing himself as a top forward. The Rayan of tomorrow will be even better than the Rayan of today.”

Tottenham Hotspur have also been keeping a close eye on the youngster. Reports suggest the North London club could submit an offer worth around £26 million.

Tottenham have already made enquiries regarding his eligibility for a Brazil call-up, as it could support their work permit process if a deal is reached.

Aston Villa, Newcastle United, and Portuguese side Porto are also among the clubs said to be monitoring the player’s situation.

In addition, Goal reports that both Arsenal and Liverpool are evaluating the possibility of making a formal move for the teenager in 2026.

Rayan is a left-footed attacker capable of playing as a winger or centre-forward.

He is admired for his speed, strong dribbling, and finishing ability. The Brazilian also possesses sharp movement, powerful shooting, and good link-up play, making him a constant threat during counter-attacks.

His aerial strength and versatility further enhance his growing reputation. With interest rising rapidly, the race for his signature could intensify in the months ahead, especially if his current form continues.
