Confirmed line-ups: Arsenal vs Atletico Madrid – Martinelli starts for Gunners
Arsenal take on Atletico Madrid at the Emirates Stadium tonight looking to make it three wins from three games in the Champions League this season.
Mikel Arteta has made two changes from the side that beat Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday. Gabriel Martinelli is recalled to start on the left wing with Leandro Trossard making way while Myles Lewis-Skelly comes in for Riccardo Calafiori on the left side of the back four.
David Raya keeps goal once again for Arsenal while William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes continue their rock solid partnership in the middle of defence. Jurrien Timber keeps his place at right-back so Ben White has to settle for a place among the subs again.
Martin Zubimendi anchor the midfield with Declan Rice offering support. Erebechi Eze keeps his place in the attacking midfield role with Martin Odegaard still recovering from a knee injury.
Bukayo Saka lines-up on the right flank with Viktor Gyokeres leading the line up front. The Swede will be hoping to end his goal drought against Atletico this evening.
Piero Hincapie is on the bench for Arsenal after recovering from injury. Mikel Merino and Ethan Nwaneri are also among the substitutes.
