Arsenal interested in signing Juventus’ Khephren Thuram

By on October 16, 2025

Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Juventus midfielder Khephren Thuram, as per transfer journalist Graeme Bailey.

Since moving to the Allianz Stadium from OGC Nice ahead of last season, the Frenchman has established himself as an undisputed starter in the record Italian champion’s starting XI.

He helped the Bianconeri qualify for the Champions League by finishing in the top four in Serie A last term. After displaying eye-catching performances in club football, the 24-year-old has secured his place in the French national team.

Now, on TBR Football, Bailey reports that Arsenal have expressed their interest in Thuram following his recent rise at Juventus and held talks to learn about the details of signing him this summer.

Apart from the Gunners, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, and Liverpool are also in this race, and they enquired about the details of buying him in the last transfer window.

However, the player has a contract with Igor Tudor’s side until 2029, and they consider him untouchable. Therefore, they didn’t allow his departure this summer.

Thuram to Arsenal

After missing out on the Frenchman, Arsenal decided to reinforce the midfield department by signing Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard, having allowed Thomas Partey and Jorginho to leave for free.

Zubimendi has enjoyed a bright start at the Emirates Stadium, but the Dane has had a slow start due to injury problems. Norgaard has only started in the EFL Cup encounter versus Port Vale thus far.

The experienced player is set to turn 32 next year and has signed only a two-year contract with Arsenal. Therefore, perhaps, Arteta’s side have already started exploring options to replace the former Brentford star.

Thuram, standing at 6ft 3in tall, is a technically gifted, dynamic midfielder. He is strong, good in the air, has the qualities to chip in with some important goals, and is also efficient in defensive contributions.

The former Nice star possesses the necessary physical attributes to thrive in the Premier League, making him a shrewd acquisition for Arsenal should they secure his services.

However, it is going to be interesting to see whether the North London club eventually revive their interest in Thuram, having failed to secure his services in the last transfer window.
