Arsenal are in the market for new signings as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of next season.

Injuries and a lack of squad depth have affected their campaign, making reinforcements a priority.

According to L’Équipe, the Gunners have set their sights on VfL Wolfsburg striker Mohamed Amoura.

The Algerian international has impressed in the Bundesliga since joining from Union Saint-Gilloise last summer.

Amoura has been a standout performer for Wolfsburg this season. In 24 Bundesliga appearances, he has contributed to 19 goals, scoring 10 and assisting 9.

His performances have caught the attention of several top clubs across Europe.

Liverpool Also in the Race for Amoura

Premier League clubs are keeping a close eye on Amoura, with L’Equipe claiming that Arsenal have made enquiries about a summer transfer.

However, the report says Liverpool have also been in touch while Nottingham Forest are also interested in securing his signature.

Wolfsburg are expected to demand between £29 million and £33.5 million for the 24-year-old striker.

His pace, pressing ability, and explosiveness make him a valuable asset in attack.

Arsenal have also been linked with several other strikers, including Benjamin Šeško, Alexander Isak, and Viktor Gyökeres.

Meanwhile, the prospect of joining a club competing in the UEFA Champions League could make a move even more appealing for the Algerian international.

Liverpool are in search of a forward to add more firepower to their squad. Reports suggest they are looking to offload Darwin Núñez, with various outlets linking the Uruguayan with a move away from Anfield.

If Núñez departs, Amoura could be the player tasked with leading the Reds’ attack.

His performances this season have placed him among the most exciting attacking prospects in Germany.

Only Michael Olise, Florian Wirtz, and Omar Marmoush have generated more interest than Amoura in the Bundesliga this season.

His rise in form makes him a sought-after player, and a summer move to the Premier League could be on the cards.
