PHOTO: Wilshere Defends Himself On Twitter By Posting Zidane Pic
Jack Wilshere has defended himself on Twitter by posting a picture of legendary French midfielder Zinedine Zidane smoking.
The midfielder hit the headlines this morning after being snapped smoking a cigarette outside a nightclub in the early hours of Thursday morning (you can see the picture here).
This drew criticism from boss Arsene Wenger, who said at his press conference this morning that he was unimpressed by Wilshere smoking in public as it’s not only bad for his health, but it tarnishes his reputation as a role model.
However, Wilshere has defended himself by posting an image of ZZ, arguably one of the greatest football players ever, smoking a cigarette and later claiming that “for the record, I don’t smoke!”.
But for the record….I don't smoke!
