Victor Osimhen has ‘agreed’ summer move amid links with Arsenal
According to Italian transfer guru Gaetano Fedele, a mysterious Premier League club has already agreed terms to sign Arsenal target Victor Osimhen this summer.
Most Gooners expect Arsenal to sign a top striker in the summer. Every day, a transfer rumor linking Arsenal with this or that striker pops up, supporting this notion. One striker on the Gunners wishlist is Victor Osimhen.
According to speculation, the Napoli hitman is expected to leave this summer as long as potential suitors are willing to activate his £112m release clause. A number of top clubs, including PSG, Chelsea, and Arsenal, are aware of this and are considering pursuing a deal for the Nigerian international.
Osimhen, Premier League-bound
It appears Osimhen is now Premier League-bound as Gaetano Fedele, an Italian transfer specialist, believes the striker will move to England with Arsenal and Chelsea the sides to watch.
Fedele is confident that the 25-year-old will move to England this summer and claims he has already agreed to join an unnamed Premier League side.
“There is a clause in the renewal contract signed by Victor Osimhen. The Nigerian has already agreed with another club and will leave in the summer,” said Fedele on Tele A via Area Napoli.
“I am convinced that the Nigerian goes to England. Trust me, he knows where to go.”
Due to injuries and his participation in the Africa Cup of Nations, Osimhen hasn’t had a consistent season thus far. Despite this, he has 11 goals and three assists in 18 Serie A games, as well as two goals and one assist in six Champions League games.
Fedele’s claims will leave Arsenal fans hopeful that they could be the ones who’ve reached an agreement with Osimhen. With potentially no Champions League football at Stamford Bridge next season, what would attract him to Chelsea?
We’ll have to wait and see how this saga unfolds over the coming weeks but there is no doubt that Osimhen would be an exciting addition to Arteta’s squad if he ends up moving to Arsenal this summer.
