Arsenal to launch ‘huge offer’ to sign Federico Chiesa
Arsenal are reportedly ready to launch a huge proposal to sign Juventus star Federico Chiesa in the upcoming transfer window, as per the Italian outlet Tutto Juve.
After moving to the Allianz Stadium back in 2020 from Fiorentina, the 26-year-old has managed to establish himself as one of the best players in Serie A over the last few years, helping his side win a Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana trophy.
The winger has also managed to make his mark on the international stage for Italy, helping his nation become the European champions in 2021 by beating England in the Final at Wembley Stadium.
So, it is not a surprise to see that Arsenal have registered their interest in signing the Italian international to reinforce their frontline. According to the report by Tutto Juve, Arsenal are keen on purchasing Chiesa and are preparing to submit a huge offer to secure his signature in the upcoming transfer window.
The report further claims that Juventus are ready to cash-in on their star man if they receive an offer of around £61m from his potential suitors such as the North London club.
Chiesa to Arsenal
However, Tutto Juve states that Man Utd are also interested in signing him and are looking to accelerate their efforts to acquire Chiesa’s service so Arsenal are set to face tough competition from their rivals in getting any potential deal done for the Italian.
Chiesa is a versatile player as although he is a left-winger by traits, he can play in the right flank and the centre-forward position. He is quick, technically sound, can create opportunities for fellow attackers, has the efficiency of finishing off chances and also works extremely hard without possession.
So, the 26-year-old would be a shrewd signing for Arsenal if they manage to secure his signature in the upcoming transfer window. However, the Italian has struggled to showcase his best for Juventus in recent times after recovering from a serious knee issue so, Arsenal should be careful before making a move for him.
It is going to be interesting to see whether Arsenal eventually opt to sign Chiesa by spending the reported £61m fee in the upcoming transfer window to strengthen their frontline.
