Arsenal need a win to reclaim top spot in the Premier League table when we take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this afternoon.

Mikel Arteta has recalled his big guns following Thursday night’s win over FC Zurich in the Europa League. Aaron Ramsdale keeps his place in goal as Arsenal’s No.1 starts once again between the sticks.

William Saliba is recalled to start alongside Gabriel in the middle of defence after the Frenchman was rested in midweek. Rob Holding makes way while Ben White starts once again at right-back.

Oleksandr Zinchenko is recalled to start at left-back after recovering from a calf injury. Kieran Tierney drops out despite his impressive display against Zurich while Takehiro Tomiyasu is ruled out with a muscle problem.

Thomas Partey comes back into the Arsenal eleven while Granit Xhaka is also recalled after serving a suspension on Thursday night. Albert Sambi Lokonga and Mohamed Elneny drop to the subs bench this afternoon.

Martin Odegaard is recalled to start with Fabio Vieira making way while Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli also return to the starting eleven. Gabriel Jesus keeps his place so Eddie Nketiah and Reiss Nelson drop out.

As for Chelsea, it’s no surprise to see Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang starting against his former club. Let’s hope we can keep him quiet!
