Confirmed line-ups: Arsenal vs Man Utd – Cedric starts
Arsenal can move back into the top four with a win over Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium this afternoon.
Mikel Arteta welcomes Takehiro Tomiyasu back into the Arsenal squad today but the defender is only named on the bench. Cedric Soares is recalled at right-back in the only change from Wednesday’s win over Chelsea.
Ben White therefore moves back into the middle of defence alongside Gabriel. Nuno Tavares keeps his place at left-back with Kieran Tierney ruled out for the rest of the season.
Mohamed Elneny is rewarded for his solid display at Stamford Bridge as he keeps his place in the Arsenal midfield ahead of Albert Sambi Lokonga. Granit Xhaka keeps his place in midfield along with Martin Odegaard.
Bukayo Saka scored a late penalty against Chelsea and he starts once again in the Arsenal attack this afternoon. Emile Smith Rowe also keeps his place so Gabriel Martinelli has to settle for a place on the bench.
Eddie Nketiah was the hero on Wednesday night after scoring twice against the Blues and he retains his place up front ahead of Alexandre Lacazette.
As for Man Utd, Cristiano Ronaldo returns to the starting eleven while Raphael Varane and Scott McTominay are also back. Harry Maguire is dropped to the bench.
