Confirmed line-ups: Arsenal vs Tottenham: Lacazette & Soares start for Gunners
Arsenal take on Tottenham in the North London Derby at the Emirates Stadium this afternoon.
Mikel Arteta has dropped Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for ‘disciplinary reasons’ with Alexandre Lacazette coming in to start up front. Emile Smith Rowe is also recalled to start along with Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka in the attacking midfield positions for Arsenal.
Cedric Soares is recalled to start in place of Hector Bellerin at right-back while Kieran Tierney keeps his place at left-back. Gabriel is rewarded for his fine performance against Olympiacos as he keeps his place alongside David Luiz in the middle of the Arsenal back four.
Thomas Partey starts alongside Granit Xhaka in midfield so Dani Ceballos remains on the bench along with Mo Elneny. Nicolas Pepe and Willian are on the bench but there is no place for Gabriel Martinelli in the Arsenal squad.
As for Tottenham, it’s no surprise to see Harry Kane passed fit to start despite picking up a knock on Thursday night.
These are the teams for the game:
Arsenal

Subs: Bellerin, Ceballos, Willian, Aubameyang, Holding, Pepe, Chambers, Elneny, Ryan
