[Confirmed teams] Man City vs Arsenal: Nketiah starts, no Ozil in squad
Premier League football is back as Arsenal arrive at the Etihad Stadium to take on Manchester City this evening.
Mikel Arteta has virtually a fully-fit squad to choose from but he’s selected a surprising line-up to say the least. Eddie Nketiah is given a chance up front with Alexandre Lacazette named among the substitutes.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang starts in attack along with Bukayo Saka so Nicolas Pepe, Gabriel Martinelli and Reiss Nelson are on the bench. There is no Mesut Ozil in the squad so Joe Willock is given a start in the attacking midfield position.
Kieran Tierney starts at left-back while Shkodran Mustafi lines-up alongside Pablo Mari in the middle of defence. David Luiz has to settle for a place among the subs.
These are the line-ups:
Man City
Ederson, Walker, E Garcia, Laporte, Mendy, Gundogan, De Bruyne, Silva, Mahrez, Jesus, Sterling
Subs: Carson, Aguero, Zinchenko, Rodrigo, Sane, Bernardo, Fernandinho, Otamendi, Foden
Arsenal
Leno, Bellerin, Mustafi, Mari, Tierney, Guendouzi, Xhaka, Willock, Saka, Aubameyang, Nketiah
Subs: Martinez, Ceballos, Lacazette, Maitland-Niles, Pepe, Luiz, Nelson, Kolasinac, Martinelli
Adamu Abubakar

No matter what happened between the Coach and Ozil, Arteta made a terrible mistake by Fielding an inexperienced team to face the epl defending champions.
And for Luiz, I pray that, that was his last action in an Arsenal shirt
