[Image] My Arsenal 4-2-3-1 line-up to face Tottenham: Torreira to start, no Ozil

Arsenal need to bounce back quickly from our defeat to Liverpool as we welcome Tottenham to the Emirates on Sunday afternoon. This is the line-up I’d like Unai Emery to select…
Goalkeeper: Leno
There is no point debating over the goalkeeping position for too long as Leno is our established number one and he should obviously start against Tottenham on Sunday.
Defence: Maitland-Niles, Sokratis, Luiz, Monreal
The big decision for Emery is who to start at left-back. Monreal has started the opening three games while Tierney recovers from a groin injury but there are strong reports Nacho is set for a move back to Spain. Many feel Kolasinac should come in against Tottenham but Monreal is a complete pro and will give 100% as always, even if he is off to Real Sociedad, so I’d keep him in the team and give him a big send off.
We saw the worst of Luiz last weekend as he made two poor errors which led to goals for Salah. Unfortunately this is what we’re going to get with him so we’ll just have to pray he has one of his better days against Tottenham.
Sokratis should keep his place and, interestingly, Holding didn’t feature for the U23s this evening so there’s a chance he might be on the bench on Sunday but Emery also has Chambers so we have options at the back.
Bellerin is expected to resume full training next month after recovering from a knee injury but for now Maitland-Niles will continue at right-back.
Midfield: Torreira, Guendouzi, Ceballos
I thought Xhaka was poor once again last week and I really think it’s time Emery axed him as we have better options available in midfield now. Torreira should definitely start against Tottenham as his best performance in an Arsenal shirt came in this fixture last season.
Willock has shown his huge potential in the first three games and I’d have no problem with him starting against Spurs but I’d sway towards Guendouzi as he has just that little bit more experience.
Ceballos was disappointing at Anfield but so were many Arsenal players so hopefully we see an improved display from the Spaniard. Something similar to what he produced against Burnley would be ideal!
Attack: Pepe, Lacazette, Aubameyang
It’s time for Emery to unleash his big guns in attack! Lacazette wasn’t fit enough to start against Liverpool due to an ankle knock but he’s fit and has to start up front on Sunday afternoon.
Obviously Aubameyang should keep his place in the Arsenal eleven and I’d start him from the left as Tottenham have big problems at right-back so Auba could have a lot of joy down that flank.
Pepe showed glimpses of his enormous potential against Liverpool and I’m excited to see how he develops as he’s got the talent to be a real star for Arsenal. Let’s hope Emery goes with Laca, Auba and Pepe on Sunday as I think they could blow Spurs away.
Ozil is available again after not making the trip to Anfield due to a lack of fitness but he’s not played yet this season so we can’t expect him to come straight in to the starting eleven for a NLD. Therefore, Ozil should be on the bench along with Nelson and Mkhitaryan.
This is the starting eleven I hope we’ll see:
