Arsenal offer injury update on Koscielny, Bellerin & Mkhitaryan ahead of Man City

Arsenal have provided a full team news and injury update ahead of our trip to Manchester City on Sunday afternoon.
The club have confirmed Hector Bellerin had undergone a successful operation in Spain to repair his cruciate knee ligament after suffering the season-ending injury against Chelsea earlier this month.
The right-back is facing a lengthy rehabilitation programme and will not only miss the rest of this season but he’ll be facing a battle to be fit for the start of the 2019/20 campaign.
Arsenal have confirmed some positive news on Laurent Koscielny as the centre-back has returned to full training ahead of Sunday’s trip to Manchester City.
Koscielny suffered a suspected broken jaw during the FA Cup defeat to Man Utd but it was later confirmed it was just bruising. The defender did have to have a small operation to remove a blood clot so it remains to be seen whether he’ll be deemed fit to face City this weekend but the fact he’s in full training suggests he has a good chance.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan could also be back in the squad after recovering from a foot injury that’s hampered him in recent weeks while Ainsley Maitland-Niles will also be assessed ahead of Sunday’s game after missing the win over Cardiff City with a minor knee injury.

However, Sokratis will miss the trip to the Etihad after being ruled out until the end of February with an ankle injury so he’s on the sidelines along with long-term absentees Rob Holding and Danny Welbeck.
The update on Arsenal.com read:
Hector Bellerin

Let’s pray Koscielny is available against City as otherwise we’re going to have to rely on Nacho Monreal to fill-in alongside Shkodran Mustafi against the Premier League champions.
