Video: Blackpool 0-3 Arsenal: Willock scores brace as Gunners reach 4th round
Joe Willock scored twice as Arsenal booked their place in the fourth round of the FA Cup with a 3-0 victory over Blackpool at Bloomfield Road this evening.
We started reasonably well and should have opened the scoring early on but Eddie Nketiah wasted a couple of golden chances before we eventually broke the deadlock in the 11th minute when Willock headed home from close range after Aaron Ramsey’s free-kick came back off the bar.
The Arsenal youngster then doubled our lead shortly before half time when Willock scored at the far post after a flowing move than started in defence and led to Carl Jenkinson sending in a cross from the right wing.
We eased through the second half and eventually added a third goal as Alex Iwobi tapped home from close range in the 82nd minute after Ramsey’s shot was well saved.
