Video: Brighton 1-1 Arsenal: Poor Gunners drop points on south coast
A poor performance on the south coast saw Arsenal held to a 1-1 draw by Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium this evening.
It was a positive start as we broke the deadlock early on with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang finding the top corner with a superb finish after some great work from Alexandre Lacazette to tee him up.
The Gabon international could have made it 2-0 but his low shot was saved when clean through and in typical Arsenal style we were made to pay for missing chances as Brighton grabbed an equaliser.
The hosts broke quickly from our corner and a Stephan Lichtsteiner could only head a long ball over the top on to the path of Locadia who beat Bernd Leno to the ball before tapping in to the empty net.
Surprisingly, we were woeful after the break and struggled to create any clear cut chances to had to settle for a hugely disappointing 1-1 draw.
