Video highlights: Arsenal 1-1 Wolves: Mkhitaryan snatches late point
Henrikh Mkhitaryan came off the bench to score a late equaliser as Arsenal snatched a barely deserved point against Wolves at the Emirates this afternoon.
Arsenal were poor for the majority of the match and a mistake from Granit Xhaka gifted Wolves possession in the 13th minute and the visitors took full advantage as they opened the scoring through Ivan Cavaleiro.
We struggled to get going and Wolves were looking dangerous on the break with Bernd Leno called in to action several times to prevent us going further behind.
However, we managed to grab a late point as Mkhitaryan came off the bench to score an equaliser in the 86th minute. The Armenian international’s cross evaded everyone and found its way in to the back of the net for 1-1.
Wolves still had two chances to score a winner, with one effort coming back off the bar, as Arsenal held on to secure a point.
