[Tweets] Arsenal players celebrate Sutton win & congratulate Walcott
Some of the Arsenal players have been celebrating on social media and congratulating Theo Walcott following our 2-0 FA Cup win over Sutton United last night.
Lucas Perez opened the scoring midway through the first half with a nice left-footed finish before Walcott secured the victory with a second shortly after half-time as we eased past the non-league hopefuls.
The win booked our place in the quarter finals of the FA Cup where we’ll now take on another non-league side, Lincoln City, at the Emirates for a place in the semi finals at Wembley.
Walcott’s goal not only wrapped-up the victory last night but it saw him hit a huge landmark as it was his 100th goal for the club, making him the join 17th highest goal-scorer in the clubs history.
Some of the players have now been celebrating reaching the next round of the FA Cup on social media while Emi Martinez, Rob Holding and Hector Bellerin have also sent their congratulations to Walcott.
The England international has also taken to Twitter to share a photo celebrating his 100th goal and he thanked the fans for their support.
