[Photos] Arsenal boost as injury doubt trains ahead of Stoke

Arsenal have been handed a major injury boost with Hector Bellerin taking part in full training today ahead of our Premier League clash with Stoke City on Saturday afternoon.

Bellerin has been on the sidelines since suffering an ankle injury during the latter stages of our 1-1 draw with Tottenham over a month ago following a late tackle from Danny Rose.

The Spaniard has sat out our last six matches in all competitions and he’s been sorely missed with Carl Jenkinson, Mathieu Debuchy and Gabriel all struggling to fill the void left by Hector at right-back.

However, the 21-year-old returned to light training at the start of the week and Arsene Wenger confirmed at his press conference yesterday that Bellerin would face a fitness test on Thursday to see if he’ll be available to take on Stoke tomorrow.

It looks likely that Hector has been passed fit as he was able to take part in full training with the rest of the squad at London Colney this afternoon so we could see him make his return this weekend.

It would be a huge boost but with tough games against Everton and Manchester City coming up, I would only recall Bellerin if he’s 100% fit as there is no point rushing him back too soon.
